Emanating from Detroit on August 5, 2023, if you weren’t lucky enough to get a ticket to the show, don’t panic. As always, you’ll be able to watch WWE’s next premium event live from the comfort of your own home. Airing on Peacock in the US, and the WWE Network or whatever company carries it in your part of the world, the SummerSlam main card will kick off at 8pm EST. There’s likely to be a kickoff show starting an hour early for those who just can’t wait an extra 60 minutes for the action to kick off, and all of the matches announced for the undercard so far can be found below.

Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar

Months after Brock Lesnar first attacked Cody Rhodes, we still don’t know what The Beast’s deal is with The American Nightmare. They have fought twice since then, earning a victory each. At SummerSlam, this rivalry is presumably settled once and for all, as one man will win the tiebreaker.

There can only be one winner in this match, and that is Rhodes. If we’re really on the road to WrestleMania 40, where Rhodes will get revenge for the loss he suffered in this year’s WrestleMania main event, then he needs to beat Lesnar here and move on to other people who he’s going to get the best of here. to april.

Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor for the World Heavyweight Championship

Cracks are beginning to show in the foundation of The Judgment Day, and it’s all Seth Rollins’ fault. Well not really. As it turns out, Rollins has a title that Finn Balor wants, and since Damian Priest is Mr. Money in the Bank, there’s a good chance he could cash in on his own shot at one point.

That caused some friction between Balor and Priest, and I expect that friction to continue at SummerSlam. In fact, I’m going to make a very bold prediction on this one. Neither of them in this match ends the night as World Champion. One way or another, Priest successfully cashes in and walks away with the title.
