Rihanna invests $21 million in a penthouse once owned by Matthew Perry

One of the richest pop stars in the music industry is Rihanna. Rihanna, the second best-selling female musician of all time, has sold more than 250 million records worldwide. The Good Girl Gone Bad singer is in the news after buying a luxurious $21 million home in a 9,300-square-foot penthouse in Los Angeles once owned by Friends actor Matthew Perry.

Before the birth of her and boyfriend Asap Rocky’s second child, the 35-year-old singer recently purchased the four-bedroom, eight-bathroom residence, which occupies the entire 40th floor of the building and is known as the “Mansion in the Sky.” She previously belonged to Friend star Matthew Perry, known as Chandler Ning on the much-loved sitcom.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed a baby boy last year and are now expanding their family with another addition. The mansion, which is said to “float above the city like a floating palace”, is said to have panoramic views of the city, mountains and ocean. A living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a screening room, and a billiards room are just a few of the property’s many features.

The penthouse has four large balconies as well as an all-white kitchen with marble countertops, two islands, and high-end appliances. The master suite features a wall of curved glass, a sitting room equipped with a fireplace, two bathrooms, and large closets. Other features include 24-hour security and concierge, a large pool with cabanas, a gym, a movie theater, and a private wine cellar.

Rihanna recently spent six nights and $500,000 renting a 6,400-square-foot mansion while in Phoenix for her Super Bowl performance. The property offers five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a large pool with a built-in waterfall, two living rooms, a private gym, a wine cellar, and other features.
