  • Joshua has diversified his investments with a $38 million real estate purchase and involvement in the Alpine Formula 1 team.

Anthony Joshua completed his comeback journey with a remarkable display against the skilled southpaw Otto Wallin. The renowned boxer significantly bolstered his sizable net worth of $250 million by engaging in three lucrative bouts in 2023. Having faced two defeats at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 and 2022, the former two-time champion opted not to retire in affluence but instead continued his boxing career.

Kicking off his resurgence, Joshua confronted the resilient contender Jermaine Franklin, who had a controversial loss to Dillian Whyte. Despite displaying some initial hesitancy, AJ secured a decisive victory by a wide margin. Subsequently, Joshua accepted a short-notice challenge from Robert Helenius, achieving a seventh-round knockout, though he was cautious throughout the bout.

The turning point came in Saudi Arabia, where Joshua showcased a vintage performance against Wallin. Demonstrating his formidable power and high-level footwork, he secured a fifth-round finish. Despite Wallin having previously gone the distance with Tyson Fury, he couldn’t rise for the sixth round after Joshua unleashed a series of devastating blows, resulting in a damaged nose and a bruised eye.

Anthony Joshua Earns At Least $30 Million In 2023

AJ Made Around $10 Million For Each Fight This Year

Joshua is said to have pocketed approximately $12.5 million from his comeback bout against Jermaine Franklin. Talk Sport reveals that Joshua successfully filled all 20,000 seats at the O2 Arena for the event, despite it not being offered on pay-per-view (PPV). This non-PPV arrangement resulted in a departure from Joshua’s customary high earnings for fights. Nevertheless, thanks to his guaranteed deal with DAZN, he secured a substantial and lucrative payday.

In his second bout of the year against Robert Helenius, Joshua is said to have secured a guaranteed payment of $10 million. Originally slated to face Dillian Whyte in a pay-per-view (PPV) match, the switch to a lower-profile opponent led to the removal of the fight from the PPV lineup.

Joshua teamed up with Tyson Fury’s former trainer Ben Davison for the fight with Otto Wallin and is estimated to have earned between $15 million to $25 million for the main event fight.
