10 Tag Teams With The Most Impressive Physiques In Impact Wrestling History

TNA has a rich history with its tag team division. From Motor City Machine Guns to Beer Money Inc, the tag team division has always been one of the best things to come out of the company. Even when impact wrestling was at its worst, the team crews still did a great job.

That being said, different teams have been better in the ring than each other. On the contrary, different teams have been larger than others too. There have been several Impact Wrestling tag teams over the years that have had insane physiques that somehow outshine others in the land of the giants.

Like them or hate them, The Bromans absolutely had a great and impressive physique. Makes sense, since their whole gimmick was that they were, you guessed it, brothers who wanted attention and women. To get that, one has to be in good shape.

However, the team of Robbie E and Jessie Godderz had a very impressive physique during their stint with Impact Wrestling. While some may not have been fans of his in-ring work or his gimmick, they were in great shape.

9 triple x

Triple X was one of the highlights in the early 2000s for TNA. The trio featured a pair of extremely athletic flyers in the form of Christopher Daniels, Low Ki, and Elix Skipper. They weren’t huge like Scott Steiner, but they still had great physiques.

All three were wrecked and in the best shape of their careers at this point. While they didn’t have the size like many others, they made up for it with incredible athleticism and skill between the ropes.

8 the steiner brothers

Steiner Brothers

Speaking of Scott Steiner, he could absolutely make this list on his own. The big man is one of the most jacked up wrestlers to ever step foot in the ring, and he is arguably number one if you are only talking about TNA.

That said, his brother, Rick Steiner, wasn’t short on muscle either. While the brothers were certainly older when they stepped foot in TNA, they still had some of the most impressive physiques in the Impact tag team division.

7 Fortune

Interestingly, the face of Fortune, Ric Flair, was in the worst form of his career at the stable. That’s understandable, since he was 60 years old and it had been years since his first retirement from WWE. However, Flair was far from the only member of the group.

Fortune was a massive stable, featuring names like AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, Matt Morgan, Rob Terry, and more. Many of these fighters were in the prime of their careers in 2010 and had the physique to show for it.

6 American Top Team

Yeah, before American Top Team was in AEW, they were in Impact Wrestling. In 2017, the group debuted, led by Dan Lambert, they had their team captains Bobby Lashley and former MMA fighter King Mo.

Any group involving Bobby Lashley should immediately be on any list involving impressive physiques. Beyond that, King Mo was in fine form as well, teaming up with the future WWE Champion for a one-off match at bound for glory 2017.

5 Hernandez and Matt Morgan

Matt Morgan and Hernandez

If you don’t remember Hernandez’s team career with Matt Morgan, chances are you’re not alone. In late 2009, the two teamed up as the latter was beginning his feud with Kurt Angle and the Main Event Mafia.

Needing allies, Morgan turned to Hernandez. As a team, the two lasted only a couple of months, but managed to win tag team gold. That being said, each of them was in great shape as two of the biggest men in the company.

4 Team Canada

Admittedly, Team Canada had multiple different iterations over the years. The team was formed in 2004 by Scott D’Amore, who created a team for that year’s X Cup. In the end, Team Canada turned out to be a very fun group.

The team consisted of names like A-1, Teddy Hart, Petey Williams, and more. While they weren’t massive names or massive people, the group was still in great shape and had impressive physiques.

3 mexican america

Mexican America was a pretty forgettable stable in the early 2010s. Formed by Hernandez, he enlisted the help of Mexican Americans, Anarquia, Rosita and Sarita, with the group aiming to show their dominance over America.

Yeah, that didn’t happen, and the group ended in 2012. That being said, they all tried their best to make the gimmick work and had impressive physiques before the group’s disbandment.

2 british invasion

The British Invasion debuted in 2009, feuding with Latin American XChange. The group quickly found success as the trio of Rob Terry, Douglas and Nick Aldis won many titles over the next few years.

For what it’s worth, the trio were also in the best shape of their careers at this stage. While the group first disbanded in early 2010, they remain one of the most entertaining stables from that Impact era.

1 Eli Drake and Scott Steiner

Yes, before he was LA Knight in WWE, he was Eli Drake in Impact Wrestling. While much of his time has been forgotten over the years, he had an entertaining career teaming up with Scott Steiner. Although he had spent years of his prime in the ring, he still had charisma in spades.

Furthermore, Steiner was still high beyond belief, despite his age. Plus, Drake is far from behind in the gym and has been in excellent shape throughout his career.
